Alexander B. Cummings To Visit Liberians In Scandinavia

Updated: Feb 22

Mr. Alexander Benedict Cumming is scheduled to visit Scandinavia, with a particular focus on Stockholm, Sweden, to participate in a rally leading up to the 2023 election in Liberia. Mr. Cummings holds the positions of Standard Bearer and Political Leader of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) and the Alternative National Congress (ANC) in Liberia. He intends to contest in the upcoming 2023 General Election against President George Weah and other aspiring candidates.

During his visit from April 14th to the 16th, 2023, Mr. Cummings aims to connect with Liberians residing in Scandinavia. The purpose of his trip is to engage in discussions, address concerns, and respond to questions regarding the growth and development of Liberia, both domestically and among the diaspora. He will present his vision for Liberia's future and outline why he believes he is the most suitable presidential candidate to lead Liberia towards sustained progress and prosperity for all Liberians.

In addition, sources close to the Cummings camp revealed that his visit to Scandinavia aims to gather first-hand information to enhance the services provided by the Government of Liberia to Liberians in Scandinavia under his leadership as President of Liberia.

One of the primary issues affecting Liberians in Scandinavia is the lack of direct representation from the Government of Liberia. There is no Liberian Embassy in the Scandinavian region, which creates ongoing challenges for Liberians, particularly when they need to obtain or renew travel documents, and birth certificates, and seek overseas protection from their government.

The aforementioned rally is scheduled to take place on April 15th at Månskärvägen 10B, Kungens Kurva, Stockholm, starting at 6 pm. Admission and food will be provided free of charge.

Liberians in Scandinavia and other parts of Europe are encouraged to attend this rally to engage in face-to-face discussions with Mr. Cummings. This will provide them with the opportunity to directly ask questions about their country and Mr. Cummings' political agenda for governing Liberia and serving Liberians.
