Chrissun Pewu To Wed Muriel Bah In Helsingborg, Sweden

Updated: Feb 22

“What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined for life — to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories at the moment of the last parting?” —George Eliot.

The Liberian Swedish Association, LSA, stands in solidarity with the soon-to-be-married couple, Chrissun Pewu and Muriel Jusu Bah, to announce to its members and supporters that the couple is set to tie the knot on Saturday, June 25th in Helsingborg.

The couple got engaged on December 1, 2018, in Umeå, and initially planned their wedding for 2020. However, due to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed to a later date.

According to Chrissun, "he and his fiancée have reached this milestone in their journey to marriage through their faith in God and their profound love for each other."

To celebrate this special occasion in a magnificent way, the couple invites all Liberians in Sweden to join them in Helsingborg to witness their union before their divine heavenly Father, families, and friends. They hope that this invitation will resonate with the hearts and minds of all Liberians, fostering love and togetherness among them.

In conclusion, the couple calls on the leadership of LSA to attend and support them in making their day a memorable and successful one.
