The European Federation of Liberian Associations, EFLA in collaboration with the Liberian Association in Deutschland, LAD is delighted to announce the hosting of Liberia's 2024 joint Independence Day celebration in Wolfsburg, Germany.
From Friday, July 26th, to Sunday, July 28th, 2023, Wolfsburg will come alive with festivities honoring this significant occasion. The event will feature a diverse range of activities to pay tribute to Liberia's independence. Additionally, EFLA's Annual General Assembly (AGA) will coincide with the celebration, providing a platform for executive members from EFLA and leaders of Liberian Associations across Europe to convene and address important matters concerning the federation's progress and the well-being of member associations and their communities.
Distinguished guests from Liberia, including Senator Amara M. Konneh of Gbarpolu County, will deliver the keynote address. Additionally, Eddie Jarwolo, Executive Director of Naymore representing Liberian civil society, will deliver special remarks, shedding light on the challenges and progress in Liberia after the 2023 General Election. Michael Muller, Chairman of the EFLA Board, is also expected to grace the occasion. Noteworthy remarks will be delivered by EFLA's President, Francis Mansah, and the President of LAD, Kalifa Sanoh, highlighting the pivotal role of their organizations in fostering unity among Liberians in Europe and Germany.
